Robert Anthony is Dallas, Texas native who is still relatively new to the dance scene.  He is a graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory who holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology/sociology from Southern Methodist University, and is attending Texas Wesleyan University to pursue a master’s degree in professional counseling as well as marriage and family therapy. 

Ever since the age of 7 he has always been a fan of entertainment and has been inspired by such entertainers as Gene Kelly, Michael Jackson, Madonna to actors such as Jack Nicholson, Meryl Streep, & Denzel Washington; just to name a few.  With only 6 years of dance training, his background in dance training includes hip hop (popping, locking, and b-boying), jazz, and modern; while furthering his training to ballet, Latin/ballroom dance, and lyrical along with other forms of dance. 

He is a student of all forms of movement ranging from acrobatics to zumba.  He has taken from many well-known choreographers local/abroad; however, he credits his dancing career to his teacher/mentor Keith Clark for giving him the opportunity to learn and grow as a dancer.  He lives by many quotes but two of his favorites are, “the key to triumph is in the first syllable and you may be disappointed if you fail but you are doomed if you do not try” and “love, peace, and unity through dance/diversity”!
