Laura Freiburg

Dance Instructor

Laura Freiburg is a dancer, teacher and choreographer.  She graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. Laura continued to further her dance education at the American Dance Festival at Duke University.  She has been trained in Modern, Ballet, African, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Aerial, Liturgical, Capoeira, Yoga, Pilates and is currently studying The Bar Method. Laura has performed pieces choreographed by Paige Cunningham, Jennifer Monson, Wagner Moreira and Solveig Santillano.  Throughout Laura’s years at the University of Illinois she was apart of the Competitive Illini Dance Team and the Omnimov dance group.  Laura has been a dance instructor at St. Joseph Elementary School, Urbana Middle School and at the Urbana Park District.  She is currently a dance instructor at the Dallas and Frisco Power House of Dance and at the Dallas Black Dance Theatre.  Laura hopes to continue teaching, performing, mentoring, and developing into a strong artist and individual.  She is extremely thankful for all of the opportunities that the Lord has given her.
