Lisa Holt has been involved in the Dance Team industry for more than 20 years. And, was invited to work for the United Spirit Association (USA) where she was a head instructor for both USA Jazz, Dance/Drill, and their Collegiate Dance program. She also was a program curriculum developer, and instructor for the NCA DANZ Collegiate program which included special event choreography such as the half-time show for the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Lisa has performed professionally for Mary Kay, Juice Plus, and Beauty Control, and the Dallas Mavericks Dancers. She has taught for numerous studios across the metroplex and choreographed many award winning routines for studios, high schools, and collegiate teams. Lisa is currently involved in the ballroom dance industry and has competed in both latin, smooth, and international latin styles all over the country. She has competed in numerous competitions across the country winning in the pro-am, and sololists divisions in Miami, and Banff, Canada. Lisa is also a Teaching Artist for Dancing Classrooms of North Texas a program founded in New York; as seen in the documentary "Mad Hot Ballroom." She is one of the states leading adjudicators for local, state, and national levels of high school competitions. She is one of our most sought after Dallas Ballroom Dance instructors.


Israel Pena - Ballroom and Salsa instructor at the Dallas Power House of Dance studio has performed professionally with his students and his partners in exhibitions across the Dallas Metroplex.Israel Peña

Israel Peña began his dance career at the University of North Texas. As a student he performed, practice, and taught Salsa at both UNT and TWU with an organization named "Bailamos." Eventually becoming president, he discovered and developed his love of dance and passion for teaching. After graduating with a Degree in International Studies and a minor in Spanish, Israel began working as a Ballroom Dance Instructor in Grapevine. Since then he has performed professionally with his students and his partners in exhibitions across the Metroplex. His students have shown promise in the five dance scholarship challenges and continued to rank well overall in competitions including San Antonio and Las Vegas. He is looking forward to continuing to prepare his students and any student interested for future competitions. Finally, Israel is currently a Teaching artists with Dancing Classrooms of North Texas, a program developed in the New York public schools by Pierre Dulaine. As seen in the Documentary "Mad Hot Ballroom" and the movie "Take the Lead", Dancing classrooms teaches children more than Ballroom dancing, but it can build your self-esteem, confidence, and respect for yourself and those around you.
